Please read these Terms and Conditions carefully before placing an order or using the HugGooling website. By accessing our website or completing a purchase, you agree to be bound by these terms.
1. About Us
HugGooling is an Australian ecommerce brand selling Indonesian-style body pillows (gulings) and accessories. We operate online at huggooling.com. References to "we", "us", or "our" mean HugGooling and its operators. References to "you" mean the customer placing an order.
2. Orders & Contract Formation
• An order is placed when you complete checkout and receive an order confirmation email. This constitutes a binding contract between you and HugGooling.
• We reserve the right to cancel or refuse any order at our discretion — for example, in the event of a pricing error, stock unavailability, or suspected fraudulent activity. In such cases, a full refund will be issued promptly.
• Order confirmation emails are automated and do not guarantee availability. In the rare event stock is unavailable after payment, we will contact you immediately.
• All prices are listed in Australian Dollars (AUD) and are inclusive of GST where applicable.
3. Production & Shipping Timeframes
HugGooling products may be produced in batches. Where a product is sold prior to its arrival in Australia, the estimated dispatch date will be clearly communicated at the time of purchase and in your order confirmation email.
• Estimated shipping timeframes are provided in good faith but are not guaranteed. Delays caused by manufacturing, customs, third-party couriers, public holidays, or circumstances outside our control do not constitute grounds for a refund where the product has already entered production or dispatch.
• Once your order is dispatched, you will receive a tracking number via email. Delivery is estimated at 3–5 business days from dispatch within Australia.
• HugGooling is not liable for delays or loss caused by third-party shipping providers. If your parcel is lost in transit, we will work with the courier to investigate and, where appropriate, arrange a replacement or remedy in line with our obligations under Australian Consumer Law.
4. Consumer Guarantees Under Australian Law
Important: Our products come with guarantees that cannot be excluded under the Australian Consumer Law (ACL). You are entitled to a replacement or refund for a major failure and to compensation for any other reasonably foreseeable loss or damage. You are also entitled to have goods repaired or replaced if the goods fail to be of acceptable quality and the failure does not amount to a major failure.

5. Intellectual Property
• All content on the HugGooling website — including brand name, logo, product images, copy, and character designs — is the intellectual property of HugGooling and may not be reproduced, copied, or used without written permission.
• User-generated content shared with us (e.g. photos tagged on social media) may be reposted or used in marketing with appropriate credit.
6. Limitation of Liability
To the extent permitted by law, HugGooling's liability for any claim arising from the use of our products or website is limited to the purchase price of the relevant order. We are not liable for indirect, consequential, or incidental damages.
Nothing in these Terms limits your rights under the Australian Consumer Law.
7. Governing Law
These Terms and Conditions are governed by the laws of Victoria, Australia. Any disputes will be subject to the exclusive jurisdiction of the courts of Victoria.
8. Changes to These Terms
We may update these Terms from time to time. The current version will always be published at huggooling.com/terms. Continued use of our website or services following any update constitutes acceptance of the revised terms.
